International Anti Corruption Day held in Sopore | KNO

Sopore (KNO) : International Anti-Corruption Day is being observed across the world every year on 9 December to raise awareness about the menace of Corruption and what people can do to fight it. The programme was started by general secretary civil society Sopore, he stressed upon the awareness programme it should be organise these programmes in future. He added The international anti corruption day was also celebrated in north Kashmir's sopore which was organised by Civil society sopore. The programme held at Guru Hospital Sopore in which large number of nursing students participated, on the occasion students and various speakers threw light on increasing rate of corruption and how to fight against the corruption and to improve awareness to the people about the corruption. Speakers while sharing their views on International Anti-corruption Day and said that this will bring major awareness to the people about that issue and unites the people to fight against that problem. Various prominent citizens of Sopore town , including Block Medical Officer Sopore Dr Mohammad Sami, Director Human Rights J&K Dr Asim , and civil society sopore members were present on the occasion.(KNO)
